Embassy of Hungary in the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an exhibition from 26th to 28th of May of the current year in Nur-Sultan city. Opening ceremony of the Hungarian Innovation Exhibition was held on May 26th at 11 a.m. at the St. Regis Astana Hotel, where Hungarian companies presented their innovative products: "flAVATAR" - Magical Flowers (luminous living flowers and plants); "weberNEON" (luminous building materials); "GLORO" (luminous road signs and markings) and "RapidAsfalt" (special coating for roads and highways).

The ceremony was opened by Mihai Matyash Galoshfai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary:

"I am very happy to be able to inaugurate this event today, given that we are going through some rather difficult times.

The possibility of establishing an agricultural training center and joint ventures is being considered. The creation of a Hungarian cultural and gastronomic center in the capital is also being considered.

In addition, there are plans to build a joint bank in Turkestan with an investment volume of 30 million dollars.

We support Kazakhstan's desire to pay more attention to the "green economy".

Exhibitions could present their innovations in Kazakhstan. The company's products are fully consistent with the urban decorative lighting of all buildings and design devices, as well as the concept of image culture Nur-Sultan "Kazakhstan - City of Lights", launched in 2020. Sustainable development of Hungarian companies can be an alternative to traditional lighting.

Thank you for your attention! Rakhmet!"

"Dear participants and distinguished guests of the event.

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the opening of the Hungarian Innovation Fair. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to address you on behalf of Mr. Kairat Kelimbetov, Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Head of the "Astana" International Financial Centre.

As you know, Kazakhstan and Hungary have special relations, we are united by both historical and close trade and economic cooperation. In 2019, we successfully launched a representative office of the Hungarian Export-Import Bank on the AIFC platform, which is an important event for the Hungarian business community in expanding activities in Kazakhstan and the region. Also, together with our Hungarian partners we are working on capital market improvement.

As you know, AIFC today is one of the fastest growing financial centers in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. There are already more than 790 international financial, insurance and fintech companies registered in the AIFC.

I am confident that our joint work and the strength of our partnership will allow us to achieve all our goals. I wish all participants success and fruitful work!

Thank you for your attention." - said Aidar Kazybaev, General Director of the AIFC Green Finance Center.
