On the 21st of January 2021, representatives of the AIFC Green Finance Centre (hereinafter - the Centre), led by CEO Aidar Kazybayev, visited the Science Fund JSC (hereinafter - the Fund) and held a meeting with Chairman of the Board Aryn Orsariev, who gave an extensive presentation of the developments of Kazakh scientists who received the opportunity to bring their inventions to industrial production with the support of the Fund.
The development of Kazakh scientists and practitioners aroused great interest and an agreement was reached to establish close cooperation between the Centre and the Fund to help commercialise new solutions and other opportunities to assist the Fund.
Kazybayev proposed to use the AIFC platform for possible registration of created with the support of the Fund companies as participants of the AIFC, which will allow them to establish interaction and cooperation with other participants.
Such interaction in the future will help attract investment and commercialise the created products. During the meeting, an agreement was reached on concluding a memorandum to intensify joint work.

The Astana International Financial Centra was created by the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation, Nur-Sultan Nazarbayev as part of the “100 steps to implement five institutional reforms” national program. The Centre’s development strategy until 2025 was approved by the Management council of the AIFC during the council’s meeting on July 2, 2020.
