The AIFC Green Finance Centre (hereinafter - the Centre) and Kazan Federal University (hereinafter - KFU) have concluded a cooperation agreement on joint activities with Scientific and Clinical Centre for Precision and Regenerative Medicine of the KFU.
The terms of the agreement provide further cooperation in the implementation of joint activities, as well as innovative, investment and social projects. These projects include the development of a centre for early diagnosis and treatment of autism and muscular atrophy in Kazakhstan, as well as a joint search for funds and investors to produce medicine for rare diseases and individual treatments. In addition, the Centre will assist KFU with green projects in the development of a project for the disposal of face masks and rubber gloves.
The signed agreement will allow the Parties to carry out joint activities on the development of green and social projects in Kazakhstan and the region.

The Astana International Financial Centra was created by the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation, Nur-Sultan Nazarbayev as part of the “100 steps to implement five institutional reforms” national program. The Centre’s development strategy until 2025 was approved by the Management council of the AIFC during the council’s meeting on July 2, 2020. In accordance with the strategy, the vision of AIFC is in becoming the leading financial centre in the region that includes Central Asia, the Caucasus, EAEU countries, western China, Mongolia, and Eastern Europe.
